Re: Lock - signup item doesn't stay locked
OK... I just figured that locking would keep someone from accidentally editing an item, not physically lock its ability to resize dynamically for content. I was trying to see if I could make some elements - like text - editable for an intern but lock out their ability to mess things up drastically ...

Lock - signup item doesn't stay locked
OK... editing my question because here's the thing. Lock works on grids with text just like I had hoped - the grid stays locked but you can edit the text if it is unlocked. But I dropped the Signup - a Login object - into a grid and when I lock the grid it won't stay locked. I notice that the login ...

Pablo... here's 4 simple wbs project files. There are no images, no added css or code. http://friendlyspider.com/garys_hover_menu_projects.zip Here are the 4 projects uploaded: http://friendlyspider.com/master_page_single_master_menu/ -the folder page shares the root level master page. http ...

Re: responsive menu hover style
Yes. That's what I'll do. I know that I need to strip it down to the bare essentials and make sure that I'm not creating a problem with custom css. I just wanted to make sure that it "should" be possible to have an index in the root and an index in a folder and have them highlight separately only ...

Re: responsive menu hover style
The site is active and I'd be glad to upload anything that would help.
Could it be the optimize setting - not moving the inline styles? Does this emlinate the UID's which would normally differentiate the menu items ?
Here's my options:

responsive menu hover style
With the Responsive Menu, if you select "use hover style to indicate current page" it will highlight the root index file as well as a webpage that is in a folder but also named index. I guess this is expected behavior? Just checking. I don't recall this always being in effect or I might have been ...

Re: span unique id
Yup... optimize/move inline styles to style sheet - that did it.
I have a feeling the last update may have changed my default setting for this, no?
Oh well... fixed now. Thanks !

span unique id
I'm guessing this is a stupid question, considering I've been using this software in fairly advanced ways for years... But I missed when this began happening: <span id="wb_uid2"> I don't understand why Web Builder is generating unique span id's when I've defined a class and I find I can't override ...

Re: must publish at 320 breakpoint to fix mobile panning
I think that you have maybe already answered your issue yourself! "Master Page". Have you applied the 320 breakpoint to the "Master Pages" along with all others used? Oh yes. That's not the problem. And I've thoroughly checked out all the breakpoints on the page and master page and there are no ...

Re: must publish at 320 breakpoint to fix mobile panning
I'll have to see if I can't reduce a problem page down to the minimum that causes the glitch. I use a Master Page for menu but I've checked it thoroughly and it's very tidy. Also I should compare the source code after publishing (notebook ++) of a page published while set to default breakpoint vs ...

must publish at 320 breakpoint to fix mobile panning
This has been happening to me a lot and I'm just curious if I'm the only one... What is happening is this: When I publish when WebBuilder's page view is set to the default (widest) breakpoint, after ftp and viewed online the 320 breakpoint does not hold, that is, I can scroll the screen to the right ...

change filename but image not updating on screen
When I use the Properties panel window for an image - under Behaviour, Filename - and enter a new file name source, the image does not update on the screen. If I double click the image or select the wrench in the Object Manager to open the floating Properties window, and change to a different ...

Check out this polling demo using 10 image choices - it's the famous Rorschach test ! Re: poll, polling or voting template
Hi, Strangely, the back button still works for me :D I could vote as many times as I want. Thanks, bye :D Hmmmmm. Either you are using the cached version and haven't loaded the page with the code. Or... you just might be on a version that I had inadvertently linked to at one point. Make sure you ...

Even if you remove that...just hit the browser 'Back' button once or twice and viola I am again on the vote page and I can vote. The point is to not to allow humans too to post multiple votes Ok... try that back button now ! I just added some javascript to stop the page from reloading from the ...

Re: poll, polling or voting template
Your script doesn't seem to bar/block multiple SPAM voting. So you're the cat guy ?! :D Thanks for the feedback. Yes. But it doesn't allow for an easy back-up with the browser and if you don't give the user a return link back to the vote page like I did for the demo, then it's not nearly so easy ...

Re: poll, polling or voting template
Additional... Note that this "template", while fully functional as website, is very lean on design and graphics because it is primarily intended to be incorporated within your own website. By keeping it very lean - there is a bare bones version supplied in the zip - it is easy to implement. You can ...

Re: tip - responsive menu center on wrap - tip
Here's a website I'm currently working on that is using this code mentioned above: http://propstraightener.com Resize your browser or use Firefox ctrl+m to see how the menu wraps. The wrapped menu will drop down over elements below it - it won't force the layout grid to expand - so you must take ...

Re: tip - responsive menu center on wrap - tip
Just for clarity - I love excessive clarity myself... I'm using the standard Responsive Menu under Navigation in the Toolbox. I cleared out all the icons. Checked: use hover style, close menu on link, alignment: center, full width: true, breakpoint: 480. I changed the Property ID name in the ...

tip - responsive menu center on wrap - tip
Here's a TIP I hope somebody - besides me - finds useful. The property id of my responsive menu is "responsive_menu". My TIP is, if you put the code below into the heads section of the page HTML, it will force the menu to be centered when it wraps to a second line such as in narrower breakpoints and ...
