Some of the colour choices are not great either because a dark background and black font aren't exactly ideal and makes for some very hard reading. A viewer should not have to strain their eyes.

I misunderstood your original statement. I thought that the button changed either in appearance etc. at different BPs through some settings the user would input by right clicking on "properties".
