Multi-Languages WebSites

:?: Couldn't find an answer, with possibly *Language Text* as an exception. That seems not to match my requirement, though. I'm looking for a general translation process, which (manually) allows to translate all elements. A very good solution I found in another tool (see link below). But the ...

Re: ToolTip - EXIF - Image

Thanks for info, I will consider it carefully. But that is the easiest part of the game. So far I can go and remove all the exifs manually. The exif information at that instant seems to be completely unnecessary. Sorry that I still don't yet have too much knowledge about the details of webdesign ...

Re: ToolTip - EXIF - Image

Not within the program you will need to do this externally and then bring the image back in. Once you have done this you cpuld use the alt tag for giving a short description of the images(s) See the following: https://www.google.com/search?q=remove+the+EXIF-Information+of+an+image&oq=remove+the ...

ToolTip - EXIF - Image

https://blumenfotos.org/farben/blau/blau1.html
Hover shows the type of camera (out of the EXIF), here Minolta DSC.
Is there a way, to generally / globally remove the EXIF-Information of an image?
May be replace that with a global setting 'Klick for full screen'?
Thx, to ziens. :-)

Pablo wrote: Sat Feb 23, 2019 7:48 am You can use the 'File Publisher' object to publish additional files with the page.
However, in this case it may be better to upload the file only once.
Works perfect. Just put it once into index.html

Plain text, No file extension

Is it -and if .. how- possible to create a simple text file without an automatic extension (html, ...)? Pe the server configuration file .htaccess (that has the extension .htaccess). And to automatically upload that file during 'Publish to Web'. It means, that is a simple plain text file, handled by ...

Re: Themeable Button Global style ?

Thanks, very much ! 'll give it a try. Some already tried, but all those came to a 'dead end' so far. But I've time to study ALL proposals. Will report about the outcome. The jquery does not allow to specify a 'target' option, as said. Else it is very convenient. To be expected to implement such ...

Re: Themeable Button Global style ?

but alternatively you can use a form button and use events to trigger links. I figured that. Events ... onklick ... link ... target. Where I miss the selection about what should happen with the traget, new page (_blank), same page, ... No selection, and no manual entry possible. No matter what is ...

Re: Themeable Button Global style ?

The themable button uses jQuery UI , you can change the global style in the jQuery UI Theme manager. Thanks, that works great. But that is valid for a page with themable buttons, not for an object on a page. I'd need it for a simple (link)button, definable with a global css, independend of jquery ...

Re: Link root recursive to submenu pages

Well, I did the same  I figured, that the positions of the master pages 'somehow' determine the (relative) paths to the varios pages in a project. It took me a few weeks on a daily base. There should be a simple discription. Not everone is an expert in the UNIX world, though I am. Recently ...

Themeable Button Global style ?

How -if- is it possible, to define the layout/appearence of a Themeable Button through a global style (CSS).
So far it seems to be possible to work on any individual button only. Or do I miss something?
Thanks for enlightenment.

Re: Link root recursive to submenu pages

do not think the problem is in the application. it has been working like this for years and it is logically that links in from another folder do not work. I thought that this would be a major advantage of WWB. Think about the users who do not have any knowledge how to build websites. If they see ...

Re: Background Image ?

What do you mean both versions? The way I did it, and the way you proposed. What misleads (irritates) me, is, that there are buttons and functions - both not working as expected. That makes me nervous. Also, I have trouble with links between objects in subdirectories. Whe I relocate objects in the ...

Thanks for response :-)
I tried that, too, w/o succress.
As soon as I hit OK, nothing happens, just everthing disappears, no code generated.
In both versions.
I'm sure, that this is MY mistake, but how?
Must the image reside in a particular location?

Background Image ?

Buddies, I'm not new in IT (since 1962), but sometimes it makes sense to ask for help/info. So far I built my websites with ****, which is very similar. Since a couple of years I'm pretty goot with that tool. But I'm afraid, that this will be a 'dead end'. Also may be an illegal version. So I bought ...
