Site problems?
The forums site errors out or is very slow.
The wizard displays an error and then doesn't add stock photos.
These are intermittent but have occurred for the last 2 days. My connection is good, other sites work fine.

Re: Positioning objects in carousel
Thanks Crispy that's insightful. I don't want to use a flexible carousel because I want to have absolute positioning of objects. My attention was to control the slides through an arrow image or icon using an event to move the slides. I tried setting "pause cycling on mouse enter"; the problem with ...

Positioning objects in carousel
I have a carousel with type set to full width and floating, If I add an object to a carousel panel, for example an icon, and position it to the left edge of the carousel, in design mode it looks like the icon is positioned right at the edge. However, in preview the icon is not on the left edge, but ...

Yes but I wanted full width and floating to use absolute positioning.
For the purposes of my current project that's more important than having the parallax effect.

Re: Universal Parallax
Understood but I want to use the full width and floating carousel so I can have absolute positioning with text or other objects.
I thought it would just be a nice feature in the website but it's not critical so I'm not going to pursue it any further.
Thanks.

Re: Universal Parallax
That didn't work for me either, I don't know why.
Anyway, for my current project I really want to have the full width and floating carousel which means parallax won't work with that, so I'm just going to not have that effect on the site.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I tried that. The only way the carousel will then display is if it's set to a type of flexible.

I see how universal parallax works in the "Mini" template, which uses Flex Containers. Will the universal parallax effect work with a carousel? Re: Banner
OK in that case what action would you use? I used a timeout timer and tried animation pause; that didn't work.
Then I tried both "media pause" and "media stop" which worked but it's impossible to time it correctly to allow the animation to complete.
Is there another way?

I did read the tutorial. It seems to be quite out of date.
Is easy to replicate. Just add a banner with some text, enable CSS animations, set the show animation and leave hide as none.

Themeable Button Hover
Looking at the template "Future City" it has a neat feature using a sticky layer and themeable buttons which appear on the right side of the screen. The buttons use a right side padding value of 48 so that only the left side of the button appears. Then "hover" triggers a transform transition which ...

Run the attached example.
Click the "Fill" menu link
Then click it again.
It goes to the photo grid first then the fill grid.
Refresh the page and it will occur again.
Replace the photo collage with a photo gallery and it will not happen.

Link to Layout Grid with Photo Collage
Using photo collage in a layout grid, a link to the another layout grid section goes to the photo collage grid rather than the correct one. This happens when the page is first loaded or when it is refreshed.
Using a photo gallery instead does not cause this behavior.

Re: Dropdown Menu Questions
1) You can change the alpha value of the border color. Set to '0' to make the border transparent.
Thank you that worked.
2) This menu has no 'dismiss' option
There is no way for the panel menu to be hidden after a menu item is clicked? Maybe there is a JavaScript workaround?
