Mobile Usability

Post by nrgiser »

Hi Good People,

This question may have been posted before, but I have been looking in to this problem since November 2019 and I cannot for the life of me figure it out, so I have come to the one place that has most of the answers.

I have been keeping an eye on my site mobile usability, as this can affect your ranking results on Google.

When i do a "Mobile Friendly Test" via Google Console the results state the the web page is mobile friendly and that the page is easy to use on a mobile device.

However when I do "mobile Usability" test again via Google it keeps stating 3 errors.

1, Text is too small to read.
2, Clickable Elements to close together.
3, Content wider than screen.

The URL that keeps coming up with these errors is this one >>

https://www.ocean-bay-beach-resort.com/wechatpay-alipay

I do not seem to have any further problems with any other page in my site, which are all the same design in as the same text size, layout and screen width size. I have gone in to the WB14 and had a look at the page that it states has the problem and again I cannot see anything obvious like a border wider than the screen size or some very small text.

I know this is not directly the fault of the program in fact I have no issues with the program itself, I am just posting this here in the hope that someone else has experienced something similar and were able to fix it using the program and as such can point me in the right direction to get my web page error free too.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I hope someone out there can help.

Matt.

1. Text is too small to read.
You (as the designer of the page) are in control which font and font size you choose.
2. Clickable Elements to close together.
You can use breakpoints to create a separate layout for smaller screen and add more spacing between elements.
3. Content wider than screen.
This usually means that there are elements outside the viewport.
