flex grid and layer
Hello,
in version 15.0.2 the flex grid inserted in a layer, if you drag the layer onto the page, the flex grid follows the movement of the layer only vertically.

Re: flex grid and layer
A flex grid cannot be inserted in a layer, this is not supported.
It does not make sense to add a flexible element into a fixed/absolute container.

Re: flex grid and layer
in very complex pages, where many flexgrids must necessarily coexist, I raised many problems by inserting them in separate layers and it worked well, now in version 15 this is no longer possible
Re: flex grid and layer
I'm sorry, this is not the correct way to use flex grids. A flex grid must be a direct child element of the page.
But maybe you can crate a demo project so I can see how you have used it in the past?

Re: flex grid and layer
sorry,
how can I share the demo file?

Re: flex grid and layer
I extracted a small page from my project where there are two flex grids in two layers.
by clicking on the switch, one of the two layers containing the flex grid is displayed alternately.
The problem persists only in the design time phase (inside the wysiwyg web builder IDE), at run time, everything works correctly in the browser.
below is the link where you can download the demo.
thank you so much

Re: flex grid and layer
First note that this really not the right way to use flex grids. You were lucky that it worked in previous versions.
What is the layout suppose to look like? Because the project only opens in WB15 I cannot see what it looked like in WB14.
There are so many elements in your project that it's difficult to make any sense from it.
Maybe you can create a simpler demo so it's easier for me to understand what you're trying to do?

Re: flex grid and layer
if the layer is wider than the page you can drag the flex grid inside, then resize the layer and the flexgrid,
Or drag the flex grid into the layer directly from the toolbox.

Re: flex grid and layer
In any case, I think it would be very useful to be able to insert a flexgrid in a layer
Re: flex grid and layer
In the next update there will be some improvements to make it work as before.
