Flexgrid and Content Place holder don't play nice

Post by ShadowMakerSdR »

Hi,

I have a set-up with a flexgrid that I wanted to use to do the 'top' of my website: header, menu etc
Underneath that I have a content-place holder, set to floating.
Now when I create a page to display inside the content place holder and use a layout grid to set-up that page, the content of that page will display both inside the content place holder AND inside the various spaces of the flexgrid, even though I'm only targetting the content place holder (as far as I know).

Am I overlooking something?

I'm sorry, you cannot use a content place holder inside a flex grid. It is just a place holder and the content will be inserted "AS IS".
The grid does not know what to do with this.

It should work. Do you have a project file you could share to see how you have things set up?

I wasn't trying to include the CPH inside the grid, but put it underneath it.
If I do this with a layoutgrid as a header it works, but if I use the flexgrid it doesn't.
I thought they were the same internally, but apparently not. ;-)
