Install a clone of Medium's Rich Text Editor

Post by williamz902 »

Hey guys.

I've been needing to install a rich text editor, and particularly loved the one that Medium.com uses. I found a clone of their editor on Github - but have no idea how to install it into my WYSIWYG Web Builder project. The editor has a manual installation. I've added the appropriate code in the <head> </head> sections of the page, and tried to initiate an instance of the editor using the HTML element and the appropriate code (as per the Editors documentation), but nothing happens.

I'm proficient with PHP programming, but I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to Javascript. Are there any Javascript programmers who are able to help? Some step by step guides on how to get this editor to work in my project would be greatly appreciated. The editor can be found here on Github: https://github.com/yabwe/medium-editor

Any help will be really appreciated.

I'm sorry, I cannot help you with third party scripts.
For me, it may also take a few hours (or days) to figure out how to use this editor.

But this may be helpful:
