custom 404

Post by Jerry »

Looking for some help..
I inadvertently deleted some files from the root directory. But I have anything back working fine except my custom 404 page.
I have a custom 404 page made Ex: https://www.edesignsplans.ca/404.shtml
I have the .htaccess file with this on it "ErrorDocument 404 https://www.edesignsplans.ca/404.shtml" uploaded to the root directory.
So here is the weird thing thing:
If I make an error from a page in the root directory it works fine. Works...Ex. https://www.edesignsplans.ca/contact_usA.html
But if I make a error from a sub folder I get the 404 page but it is messed up?
Ex: https://www.edesignsplans.ca/e-designs- ... 3726A.html
So I don't know what is going on.
Any thoughts?
Thank and Merry Christmas all
