jCarousel is a jQuery plugin for controlling a list of items in horizontal or vertical order.
The original script and copyright stuff can be found here http://sorgalla.com/jcarousel/.
DEMO
Have a look at the examples in this page http://sorgalla.com/jcarousel/.
NOTES AND UPDATES
1. I included a sample project with the zip file, please read the description fully to understand how the extension works (it is really easy, but please read it).
2. The extension is made with most of the functions of the original script implemented. Callback functions and Thickbox lightbox are not implemented in the extension, but I will try to do it later as an update.
3. The extension is tested and works %100 on IE9, Chrome, Firefox, Maxthon and Safari.
4. Easing effects are now working %100.
5. You can now set image border and border padding.
6. You can add captions under each image with text settings..
7. You can add a main title to the container with text settings.
8. Images can be linked to other pages.
9. Added "no jump to top of the page" script if the image doesn't have a link specified.
10. Works with jquery 1.7.2.
11. And much more...
12. This is my third real extension, I had to make a lot of workarounds to make the extension work properly, and as an example: the original script uses one image for the next arrows; when it is disabled, active and hover. So in the css file the background image is determined by the position of the part of that image. In the extension, each button image is specified alone. Plus, in order to give the shifting effect when clicking on the button, I had to add divs in the html code so it gives this effect. SO, for the ones who have experience in coding, if there is any better way to improve/refine the code to give a cleaner code please post it here. My experience in html and css is not that super, so any help would be really appreciated.
