This is off web building subject a little but I hope someone can help as I am unable to find the answer in Google search
I want to compose an email in outlook that will have a URL address on the page. I do not want that URL to be live so the receiver needs to copy it and paste it into the browser. Each time a do it it becomes active and turns blue and can be clicked on by the receiver of the email.
Any ideas on how I put into the email a dead URL copy paste only
Thanks

Re: Unclickable link
EDIT - just remembered that if you highlight the URL and right click there should be an item to remove Hyperlink.
Re: Unclickable link
I think the email application automatically turns all valid URLs into a clickable link.
I'm not sure if you have any control over this, other then to make the URL 'invalid'
For example by removing the 'http://' prefix.
