Add Google map

Post by Lasa »

I'm looking for a way to add a google map from within WWB..
I see where it says ready to use java scripts? saw a tutorial where it was in WWB advance?
I'm on WWB14 don't see any of them?
Any help welcome.
Cheers,

You will find the (Google Maps) Ready-to-use-Javascripts in Toolbox->Miscellaneous

Please look for 'Google Maps' in Ready to use JavaScript.

You need to slide the 'Ready to use Javascripts' tool onto your page, and then you can pick which one (Google maps in this case). Confused me a little at first as well.

I try use more add three different Google Maps to one page thru Ready-to-use-Javascript, but I see only one map. Do you have any idea to correct this?

From the Help:-

"It is not recommended to use more than one Java Script per page."

That may be the reason that you can only see one map.

The url you provided is to a solution that is 10 yrs old so may or will be of no use (no help to install or use sorry). To use Google Maps today you are required to use a API key from Google, you may also need to pay a fee/subscription to use the Map service (not related to the use of the software). Note you are also required to publish the page with the map(s) to your host/server before it will display.

Why not just use the free embeddable Google maps?
