Much confusion this morning when I tried to preview (and subsequently publish) a new small site with a 'cover' background.
Background didn't show on preview or once loaded to host (certainly in the folder on host).
I assumed I was doing something daft (I haven't touched a new site in months !) so went to look at one that I had done previously and successfully.
Could spot a set-up error so switched background on new site to the one used in the previous and it displayed (in preview and on host) with no problem or changes to set-up other than the picture.
The previous JPG had just been downloaded from a subscription clipart site (with valid account) but assumed that must the the problem, BUT ...
Tried a couple of snaffled JPG of the internet + one I have had for ages (and paid a fortune for as a licensed photo) and they don't work either.
Can anyone suggest anything obvious I should be looking at ?

Usually this means that the filename of the image is invalid.
