Can I use WYSIWYG Web Builder with a web-host that lets me buy a VPS with them?

One project is at a Web-Host where I utilize FTP, and WYSIWYG Web Builder publishes to it, like normal.

But I'm looking at buying a VPS at that same host, for use with the same domain, but want to make sure that I'll still be able to use WYSIWYG Web Builder to work on the site, when it is a VPS instead of the current shared hosting way it is set up?

If you can publish your website via FTP or Secure FTP then it will work.
And otherwise you can always manually upload the files.

Thank you, Pablo; they have assured me that

Code: Select all

Yes, you can establish an FTP/SFTP connection with the VPS. The VPS is a self managed solution where you have dedicated resources and a root access to the server. Our support team will maintain the actual VPS and will ensure you that the VPS is up and running but you will need to take care of the uploads and updates
So, I think it *should* be fine.

WYSIWYG Web Builder rocks!
