Conveyor Belt

Post by jumiclads »

When I set up a conveyor belt using 4 images it works fine apart from when i first open my web site. The conveyor belt does not run smoothly but stutters until I refresh my browser or move the mouse pointer on and off it once. It then works as it should. can anyone explain why this would be happening. Also it is not responding to the command Centre in Browser = True

Everything works as it should in the preview but not when I upload to server.

Windows 10 latest version
Google Chrome latest version

Thank you

Are you using the built-in conveyor belt?

What is the URL?
What are your exact settings?
Do you have a demo project?

I think I have solved this at the moment. My browser has AdGuard AdBlocker extension installed and once I disabled it everything seems ok.

Hi Pablo

Thank you for replying so promptly

It is now working in Google Chrome perfectly but not in Microsoft Edge. In Edge it does nothing at all. It is just like a single image placed on the screen.

The URL is https://www.juliepilcherfineart.co.uk (this is just trying out different things so take no notice of the messy look)

I am using the conveyor built in to the software.

Not sure what you mean by settings. All I have done is loaded the conveyor on screen and loaded 4 images Res 72 pix and named them picture-1.jpg to pictur-4.jpg) and set the page to centre in browser. No other setting were altered.

No demo project ?

Thank you for letting me know. That would make it my browser problem. Where on earth do I start with that.

Just found that in Internet explorer it was the same. A still picture, but at the bottom of the browser it said allow blocked content, so I did and now it works in that one.

Not sure what is doing it in Edge though because that option to unblock never came up

Is your Edge browser up to date?

Yes the Edge browser is the latest - Version 83.0.478.56 (Official build) (64-bit)

I am not sure what is happening because I just cleared my browser cache on all browsers and Chrome is malfunctioning again.

Edge is still not working

Internet Explorer is working fine.

Safari on iPad is working.

Not much good though. I can't expect viewers to mess about trying to get this to work.

I have tried this on 2 different pc's and my phone and it is the same problem on there.

I've checked on Edge (even older version), FF, Chrome and IE11 and it's working on all of them. Since it is working on your iPad and working on my computer, it leads me to believe it is something to do with your computer.
Everything works as it should in the preview but not when I upload to server.
What you see in preview is nothing different than when published. If it's not working on the server then it usually means you have not uploaded all the files or there is an issue on your server.
