FTP Problem

PLEASE HELP! I keep getting this error when I try to publish even when I try another FTP APP
want to keep using the FTP APP that is in the software.

It looks like the filename is invalid. Filenames should not start with a number. Some servers do not accept this.

If this does not solve the problem then maybe your webhost requires Secure FTP?

Well I changed all filenames that start with a # Got in touch with the support guy at BLackwire he said it's not the server and FTP is the correct setting..... getting the same error:

What is the error when you switch the FTP engine to 'winsock'?
Tools -> Options -> Publish

Also make sure that your firewall is not blocking the connection.

it was McAfee and had to uncheck passive..

Note... if you had to uncheck "Passive mode"... what I remember there was an issue in the first version of WWB15 that got solved in the next update.
So if you upgrade to latest version it should also solve this problem.

Which version of WWB do you use? 15.4.4 is the latest.

I think you will have to enable passive mode and then make sure your firewall does not block the connection.

Turned off firewall
