I cannot find anything wrong. This feature is used in almost all templates.

I don't believe the breadcrumb menu is supposed to be used in that manner. To me it doesnt make sense for the links to be bookmarks on the same page. However, try leaving the page name blank. Do not choose 'index' there. Only insert the bookmark and I believe it should work.
