web builder folder transfer

Post by Rocky123 »

Have a dumb question. I got a faster computer. I transferred the web builder folder and program to the new computer. What bother me is that the published website is perfect now.

The original folder had 40k files but had some duplicates. The transferred files with out duplicates is 25k files. So there is a big difference in files. But I had older version of my website in the files.

So the question is. Is it better to work off the transferred files or Import the website from the internet to the new computer and copy of web builder15. I want the program and website to be running perfect before I up grade to web builder 17.

Thanks in advance.

The quickest way to transfer your files to a new computer is by copying the entire "Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder" folder.
This will include all projects, extensions, templates, publish settings etc.
