In a form Tel Number format

Is there a way to format the tel number imputed to read 1-305-222-5555 instead of 13052225555?

I was able to choose from EDITBOX, general tab, Type : tel
It worked!
It turned 3052331234
into (305) 233-1234
The program is too cool!

Correction: It's not that it changed 3052223333 to (305)-222-3333...
my bad, it accepts 305222333, (305)-222-3333 or 305-222-3333
seems to accept all of them.

Note that 'tel' is a standard HTML feature, so the browser determines the accepted format.
