***SOLVED***My Bookmark is not working

Hello There,

I have already put an anchor to my selected text.
I have aleady named bookmark anchor.
I have already created a menu item in my Navigation Bar to point to my bookmark.
I have already created a bookmark link in the format "./index.html#bookmark1"
I have aleady renamed "bookmark1" to something more meaningful.
I have already set my bookmark to the current page which is my "index.html"
I have already set my bookmark to "on the same page of my project"

Then saved.
Then published.

But when I opened my site with my browser and clicked the specified menu item.
That item only changed its color but did not go direct to the bookmarked anchor.

Is there something I made a mistake?
Or is there something I have not done yet?
What could have gone wrong?

The anchor icon is in:
"Certifications and Registrations"

The menu item which is linked to the anchor is:
"CERTIFICATIONS" in the Navigation Menu Bar (in red color)

The link generated is:
./index.html#Frances
(Frances is the name of my bookmark)

I don't see that there is an anchor(link) on the "Certification" text in the menu.

It may be easier to see what you have done if you can provide a copy of your project file (.wbs).

by the way cris,

when I created another page and linked that new page to my certification bookmark,
the bookmark link worked perfectly well.

so the issue now is:
"how come the certification bookmark works well from another page
and not on the same page?

I'm no expert but try highlighting the word Certification, right clicking and selecting Link to get a window that enables you to fill in the details for a Bookmark:

Link To: Page in this Project
Page: choose your page
Bookmark: choose your bookmark - Francis ?
Target: Open in the same window
Value: _self
Style: (none)
OK

When published, hovering on the word Certification should show the link to your bookmark at the bottom left of your browser screen. Clicking should take you there

The issue is not with the bookmark but with the missing link in the menu. There's no link to click to jump to your bookmark.

by the way cris and don,

i did an experiment.
i selected just any text on my current page
and then LINKED it to my CERTIFICATION BOOKMARK ANCHOR POINT.

to my surprise, IT WORKED FINE.

so the question at the moment is:
how come it worked on that ordinary text
BUT NOT in that CERTIFICATION MENU ITEM
of my Navigation Bar?

is there any difference between jusy any TEXT
and a Navigation Bar Menu Item?

The issue is on your demo page, there is no link for "Certifications" which is why it is not working. I see that you have a link in the pic but it is not on your demo page. Does it work in preview? Otherwise, please provide a demo project for us to look at so we can test it.
