Site search issue

Post by Jerry »

I'm using the "Site Search" on this test page that I uploaded to my site.
When I enter a search word that word that would be easily found any where on our site, all the results are only from this page (this test page and not from my website). I'm sure this old guy missed something and was hoping someone would know what I'm doing wrong.
My "Test" page is located here: https://www.edesignsplans.ca/temp/test-page-2.html
Thanks

What exactly do I need to do to see the problem?
What did you expect to happen?

Thank you for your reply as always.
This page I'm working on is just a temp page till I get it all working right then it will become our main page.

I thought that when someone typed for example "bungalow" in that search box it would search all of our complete website and bring up the results.
But it seems to just search the the page it is on?
Is that correct?
I have a search box currently working on the top right hand of my pages now but that is an html code. You'll see that here at: https://www.edesignsplans.ca

Thank you for all your help.

The search option works for all pages in the WWB website.
But all pages need to be part of the same project, so you if you create a test project then it will only works for the pages in that project.

Ok -- Now I get it.
Due to the size of our site we have our website combined with 9 different projects.
Maybe I'll try using my old search box.
Thanks
