Search Across Multiple WWB Sites - Same Domain

I recently published a new site for a customer. The site is divided up into departments. Each department is a separate Wizzy (wwb) project under a folder. I need to add a search to the home page of the site that will search the entire site (multiple sites per Wizzy) Can this be done?

each department / elected official is built with separate project

There is no option to combine the search databases of multiple projects.
