Adding link to text

Post by Lasa »

When I am making a simple text menu like this:
Home | Supplies | Contact Us | Links
I can add the links easy enough by highlighting the Home , or Supplies but it always includes the space after?
How do I make it only add the highlight underline link to the letters and not include the space after?
See site: https://exportimporttradeshow.com
In my sample the Home came out perfect but the rest didn't and I can't seem to fix it.
Thanks

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

Note that I cannot see what you have done based on the published page (HTML), because the software has thousands of options and millions of possible combinations.
So, there is no way to know which options you have used by looking at the HTML only.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

when you double click on a word to highlight it it, or just select it, it usually includes the space after the work. try use the backspace key to back out of the space at the end of the word before adding the link.

I don't usually have too much issue with it. I simply double click the text object, then place my cursor just to the left of the first character holding the left mouse button and dragging it to the end slowly. The slower you go the better. If for some reason it does grab that space after the last character, I just move the mouse to the left slowly and the space is removed from my highlighting.
