Problems when updating to 18.3.0

Post by Mal »

Hi there,
My anivirus poped up a mesage 'Severity High, Web Builder.exe attempted to lock a file protected by data protector,' Action Blocked' when i was trying to update and now I get a message 'Web Builder failed to start'

Not sure how I send you a screen shot of the messages.
No other problems apparent on my computer that is the first time my A/V has ever performed.

Thank you.

There are no security issues with the program. In all cases it is related ti your AV software you are using. To resolve you will need to add WB to its or there exception list (whitelist). It may also be related to Windows Ransomware see the links along with my previous replies to others

Thankyou.
Found the problem listed in my Antivirus Security History. Bypassed it and it allowed the latest webbuilder.exe to load.
Thanks again.
