Cookie Consent was Last Updated: on August 16, 2022

besides the Essential cookie that is used in the free cookie consent extensions

they added 4 more on August 16, 2022

Storage Preferences

When you visit websites, they may store or retrieve data in your browser. This storage is often necessary for the basic functionality of the website. The storage may be used for marketing, analytics, and personalization of the site, such as storing your preferences. Privacy is important to us, so you have the option of disabling certain types of storage that may not be necessary for the basic functioning of the website. Blocking categories may impact your experience on the website.

Essential cookies: These items are required to enable basic website functionality.

Marketing: These items are used to deliver advertising that is more relevant to you and your interests. They may also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Advertising networks usually place them with the website operator’s permission.

Personalization: These items allow the website to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language, or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. For example, a website may provide you with local weather reports or traffic news by storing data about your current location.

Analytics: These items help the website operator understand how its website performs, how visitors interact with the site, and whether there may be technical issues. This storage type usually doesn’t collect information that identifies a visitor.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: By switching the toggle to the right and clicking save, you are indicating that you do not want us to sell your personal information or share/disclose your personal information for online targeted advertising activities.

Please note if you use different computers or browsers, you must indicate your choices again on each computer/browser used to access our services.

so what I got out of reading for the past few days the cookie extensions may not protect you from fines.

A more severe violation can result in a fine up to $22.07 million or four percent of the company's annual revenue, whichever is greater. These are hefty fines that can impact an organization of any size if they are found to be in violation of the GDPR.

The number of totals reported fines more than doubled to $332 million by January 2021. Additionally, there has been a significant increase in breach notifications with an average of 331 notifications per day in 2020. Organizations are realizing that GDPR penalties are serious and making a strong effort to avoid noncompliance fines.

Note that WWB will not add any tracking, analytics, marketing etc cookies to your website.
So, if you have added custom code for this yourself then it is assumed that you also know how to control them.
There is no way for WWB to know what type of cookies your custom code adds to the page.

I just tried it to test it out for a year.

it scans and finds out some but not all information, then asks you what type of information that is passed.

it also asks questions about your Cookie/privacy policy, and it writes you one.

Still no closer to understanding to what you are using or who you are using. All you have given is a copy of the privacy statement which you could have simply provided a link to. So....what are you using? is there a charge for it? and what it the url/link so that we can view for our self..

I am sharing what I can.

it is a website that uses a program to scan your website, then ask you questions about your site, when you go to the privacy policy you have a bunch of options you can use, and it will tell you if you are compliant with each one of the privacy laws.

it has a free option you can play with

https://cookie-script.com/

I think the website could be a bit clearer but most to do is use account\dashboard\

there are a few websites that do the same thing.

there is a script you put into the page page\site head
