doc to list to menu

Post by davidpratthk »

Sorry if this might appear a tad lazy but ....

I have a long contents list from a book'and want to use it as a base to navigate a website based on this book. Notwithstanding using hyperlinks, which might look a tad ugly, is there a better option open to me in the extensions?

Otherwise I just see me having to rewrite this all into one of the extensions.

Do you have an example of what you are looking for?

No, not really. I haven;t seen any extensions that might fit. Hence the post.

The nearest thing , that I think may be the only option but is not that elegant . is the ""wikipedia"" website style web page template and I would rather not go down that route. ( Yes, the Text option with a link then assigning a page in the project etc.)

My ideal would be something like a form that converts each line of text into a line entry and then allows a page to be assigned to it, as a heading <h1>, <h2> etc is assigned when making a contents list in a Word document. That comes out quite elegant and is linkable to the document page. It sound the same as the wiki option but I really want something more elegant. All the menu options I seem to see requite a lot of date input.
