Linking from text to text same page

Hello
Not sure what this is called but I thought it would be Anchor text but I cant find that in search.
I am making a one page website so the links (that will be text)will be in the header and when one of the text "Links" is selected it will navigate to a text word position lower on the same page.
There will be a number of stop positions going down the page each with a different word.

Hope you get my drift

This feature is called 'bookmarks'

I have a friend who had his site done by another person and they have falling out.
My friend is now going to do his own site. I had him download the latest trial of WYSIWYG and I will help him to get to know it. It should turn into a new paid customer.
I have not used Templates before. But I should have a head start.
Wizard I do not know but I will go find it.

Many thanks.
I placed the anchor next to the text low on the page.
Set the link in the text top of page and when tested the anchor and text did not rise to the top of the viewing area.
It tended to rise to the lower part of the viewing area.

I notice in help that anchors will not work unless published to a server.

It suggests to set preview type = Local Server.
I did that and the screen was blank.

I navigated Tools/Options/Publish and set to local server.


Where did I go wrong
One thing I did not do was to change the name of the anchor but as there is only one anchor that should not have made any confusion.

Can you offer an opinion.

Bookmarks also work in preview.

You can change the name of the bookmark in the Property Inspector or Object Manager
