Title, Menu name, Page with and a number of other items in the site properties window are not available for editing. What could be the reason, please tell me?

It always helps to include a demo project.

These options are unique for each page so they cannot be set for all pages at the same time.
Because any change to the site properties would overwrite the title, menu name etc for all pages. This is generally not what you want!
The title of the page describes the content of the page, and it's unlikely that the content of all your pages is exactly the same...
