*** SOLVED *** Problem with upgrading from 19.2.2 to current version

Post by Account-Ability »

I have attempted to upgrade to the latest version three times. It keeps reverting back to 19.2.2 . Any suggestions?

It seems to work for all other users.
What exactly are you doing?

Yea, really strange. I click on the downloaded zip file as I have done for years. I don't even extract I just click on the .exe and it installs with no errors. Once the install is complete it automatically opens the program. I go to about and it shows the new updates version 19.3.2 as expected. I then close the program and reopen and go to about and from that point forward it shows 19.2.2.

So a fourth time I went ahead and unzipped the file and installed from the proper unzipped folder. Same result. First entry version is correct. Subsequent entries back to 19.2.2

I to am sure it is something on my end but I have gone years without a problem in this area. Any advise?

Maybe you have installed multiple version?
For example 32bit and 64bit?

I doubt that this has anything to do with the update itself.

OK, I officially admit to being an idiot. You are absolutely right I was clicking on the 32bit Icon instead of the updated 64 bit iteration. Thanks for you patience with the elderly ha ha.
