Layout advice please

Post by p-murray »

Hi,

I have used WYSIWG Web Builder for other small things in the past. I am now looking to do a new project but am unsure of how to set up the layout. Here's an example of what I want: Image

The background would be full screen of course but I want the grave image to be centered and resize depending on device. Same with the header/title and the menu.

My first thought was using flex grid or layout grid but my grave stone image was sizing strangely. And, the menu would not appear in the correct location.

Should this all be a just a big background with a menu? Or should there be a separate header, grave stone image and menu? I am thinking separate makes sense.

What would you good and kind folks suggest? :D

Thanks!

Paul

Maybe this will work for you?
- set the image as page background
- add a layout grid with 3 columns.
- add the buttons (or menu) to the center column

Thank you Pablo for your advice. I tried that and in design mode it looks fine. In the browser preview, the buttons do not seem to adjust to center. It is because in design mode the screen is 900px. In preview it is much wider.

Thank you wwonderfull for your offer of assistance. I may take you up on that but I need to explore more and try to resolve this before I ask for more help. :)

You can limit the width of the grid with the 'max-width' property.

If you need further assistance the please share a DEMO projetc so we can see what you have done.
