why does my screen turn black when I PUBLISH?

about 80% of the time the screen turns BLACK when I publish HTML This only started happening with the last two up dates.
Does anyone here have the same GLITCH I do??

You haven't said what version of WB you are using 32bit or 64bit?. I doubt it is related to a glitch in the software and more to do with your PC/Laptop and outdated drivers such as graphics. Try the following Press the Windows key + Ctrl + Shift + b this will force a refresh of the video display/adapter. If this doesn't resolve then check your video/graphics drivers for any updates.

The publishing functionality has remained unchanged for several years, so it seems unlikely that the recent update is the cause of the issue.

However, there may have been changes in other areas. For instance, you might have added larger files to the project or enabled server backup. When the software is processing large files or handling backups, it may temporarily delay screen updates as it prioritizes resource allocation.

Thanks, It still works but it no longer lets you see the data its uploading. I have 64 bit $6000.00 gaming computer that is FAST with 128 ram 12x 5500htz processor and m.2 hard drives. its very updated so it not my computer. I guess I will live with it. Thanks guys!

Yep. This is what happened to me when I was publishing very large PDF files.

The solution was to disable publishing for those files since they only needed to be uploaded once.

It makes publishing so much faster.

It might just be the software struggling with larger files. If you have anything that doesn’t need to be re-uploaded, try disabling it during publish.
