Re: Problem with background image in layout grid
There is no issue with the layout grid. What you are seeing is what you should based on your setup.
When I preview it, I see a white background on the left with text and a blue background with text and a girl on the right. I can see that your backgrounds for each column have blue at the bottom but I don't see that until the width of the browser starts to go below 1420px. You are not going to see that blue at wider widths because the images are set to 'cover' and they are stretched to fit the width and height of the column plus you have the alignment set to 'top'. So as it expands the blue goes out of view. You will see it come into view as the width is decreased.
If you want the blue always visible with the color above it, then set the vertical alignment of the images to 'bottom'. I also noticed the images you are using are 960x1200. Why 1200px height? Seems very tall when the height of your grid in default view is only 646px. I would personally only make them slightly taller than the container they are going in to.

Re: Problem with background image in layout grid
I saw it on my cell phone and it looked blue, and also on a tablet, and I thought it was a problem with my laptop. You saved me from having to find a solution to a problem that didn't exist. I really appreciate your help. Regards!

Re: Problem with background image in layout grid
what you wanted was legitimate in terms of web design but the way you structure the design layout, that is what had the flaw. It is all about the tricks.
Here is a demo of your project see if it fits your needs.
