Project not WYSIWYG

Post by Mauly »

I've been using WSWB for about 10 years now to manage two very simple web sites. I keep up to date with the new releases. Every since about version 16, whenever I edit a page created on an earlier version, regardless haw simple the edit, everything changes. Objects on top of objects, fonts blow up or shrink, I can't seem to change font size. I started recreating the pages using Layout Grid and that seems to resolve some of the issues.

I'm at my wits end. I've created a Demo Project with two copies of the same page. One with and one without layout grid. I caan;t seem to control either. Please Help

Demo Project: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... drive_link

I hope I did that right

I cannot access the project , the link is password protected.

Also, can you please describe the exact steps what I need to do to see the problem?

Try this link: https://app.box.com/s/7mhbkkke6dwyws17myfxg0nnhy341qpk

Just compare the project with the published version of each page. They are significantly different and whatever I do I can't seem to straighten it out.

Thank you

I think the main problem is with the naming of the IDs.
Names like Tennis_&_Basketball1Text1, are not web safe.

Also, some of the image names are incorrect.

Alright, I removed all images. The project is now just a text box. Please compare the project with the published.

The same link to the demo should work.

Thank you

It is still not correct.
The ID of the text is invalid: Tennis_&_Basketball1Text1

Please remove the '&'. It breaks the HTML structure.

Got it..... Thank you.

Can I ask... How can I make an image larger in a layout grid?

If you set the full width property to 'true', then the image will scale automatically.
