*** SOLVED ???*** WB20 drops to Task Bar (Windows 11)

Hi Everybody,

I have a strange performance issue with WB20.

Randomly, while I work with the interface, the program disappears and the Task Bar icon will bounce a few times. To continue,
I have to select the icon from the Task Bar. The program comes back and all is good until the next issue.

What can I do to try and resolve this issue?

I haven't heard about this issue ever before, and it doesn’t seem like something WWB would do on its own.

Could you provide the exact steps to reproduce this behavior?

I wish I could describe the exact steps to reproduce this issue but it happens randomly.

All I can tell you is that when I select anything on the interface, be it one of the objects from the Object Manager, any of the objects on the workspace, in short, any kind of mouse click will cause the WB interface to disappear from the monitor. The WB20 icon in the task Bar will bounce a couple of times and then stabilize. I can select that and have the WB20 interface reappear exactly as it was.

Can I simply reinstall over the existing application without losing any detail?

I really have doubts that this is caused by the software itself.
Does it also happen when you do not do anything in the workspace?
Maybe you have some kind of ad blocker in the background which is wrongly configured?

Yes, you can reinstall without loosing settings.

I doubt it's WWB. The bouncing of the icon in the taskbar rather suggests that a third-party app is at play here. What have you installed recently, if anything? If you have done so, then try uninstalling the new app(s) to see if the problem persists.

Issue Resolved.

It was a recently installed Anti-Track piece from Avast! I Removed that app and the issue is resolved.

Thanks for letting us know your solution. I have seen a similar issue but is sporadic. I'll try shutting off my AVG anti-track

I spoke way too soon.

I did uninstall AVAST! Anti-Track ... but the issue continues.

I doubt it has anything to do with the software itself. A search shows it could be related to Windows 11 (A Bug) itself or with outdated graphic card drivers.
