Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
Forgive me. I posted this question on links, then realized this is a better place to put it. Just under Buttons on the Downloads page is a link to extra navigation buttons, but it doesn't work. I clicked on it, and nothing happened.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
This is because it is a download link (not a link to a page). If you are not being prompted where to download and save the file then it is being downloaded to your default download folder. Locate this and your file should be there.
Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
Hi, crispy68!
This time I managed to download the file, and I extracted it and tried to run the setup which is the only file the zip file contained. It is asking me to install it here: C:\Users\tmhat\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\navbar. Is this appropriate? How do I USE it once it is installed?
Thanks again,
cyranose

The location is correct, unless you have configured a different location in Tools -> Options -> Files & Folders

Hi, Pablo,
So the default location is correct; great! Now, please forgive me, I'm a newby, how do I use these buttons? Where do they show up?
Thanks,
cyranose

Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
What you downloaded was Extra Navigation Bar buttons. These are used for the Navigation Bar menu. Open WB, locate this menu under navigation and in the menu properties you will find all the button options under the style tab.

Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
Good evening, I did download, extracted & install the 400 extra navigation bar buttons for WYSIWYG Web Builder in the navbar directory in the System Folder. The extra buttons file does not appear in the Navigation Folder dropdown from the menu at the upper right hand corner. Why am I not seeing it? I have the most current version of WWB. Thanks!
Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
If you do not see the images in the list then you have most likely unzipped the files to the wrong folder.

Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
Pablo, I reviewed the information but must be missing something. 1) The extra web buttons are not showing when I click on the Navigation Bar under the Navigation drop-drown in "Insert Main Menu", 2) I downloaded and extracted the "wwb_extrabuttons" zip file to the "C:\Users\scrib\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system" folder. (I did not change the the location of this directory in options) 3) When I click on this folder for set-up, it will create the "navbar" folder and then install/extract the buttons, but they still don't show up with the Navigation Bar, 4) Did the same, only moved the zip file to the empty "navbar" folder and then installed/extracted (each time, I closed & reopened the program after installing), 5) My "Controlled Folder Access" was turned on, but did turn it on, and could not determine which WWB app file to allow thru as it would not allow me to pick a folder, so I had to turn it back off as it was blocking WWB files from registering - thanks again for your help!

I still think you have unzipped the files in the wrong folder.
If you need further assistance then I need to know the complete configuration.

Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
Tried extracting the wwb_extrabuttons to these locations:
1) C:\Users\scrib\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system (in this case, the wwb_extrabuttons file created the "navbar folder" - C:\Users\scrib\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\navbar) - contents installed here.
2) Also extracted & installed the wwb_extrabuttons in the already created navbar folder.
So the only difference between these two was that I extracted the wwb_extrabuttons first in the system folder that created the navbar folder and then with the navbar folder already created, I moved the wwb_extrabuttons into that folder, extracted & installed.
Each time, rebooted the computer. Am I giving you the configuration information or should I be providing you with something else?

Re: Link on Downloads page to navigation buttons inoperable
In my opinion, it can only be an issue with the files being in the wrong folder or the software has not permissions to access the folder.
If you further assistance then please share screenshots of the content of the folder and your 'Files and Folders' settings.
