Hi,

Here's a recent jQuery plugin for zooming any image in a very smooth way.

I'm the author but not an extension builder so if you think that could be of interest, or even would need some final adjustments, go on...

Is this elegant zoomer of yours not a reason enough for you to be an extension builder?

I may have some time today to look at this so I'll let you know.
Aditerum - No longer supporting WWB extensions - refer to CJS.

Happy new year to All and to you Paul !! :D

I've answered you by mail about the little (strange) trouble on one of the options.

I will focus on this using it in different configurations.

Aside from that, if you can send me a zip/rar file with the code/CSS/js that highlights this, I'll check it out immediately (now that Champagne is far  ).

Cheers!

I noticed that!! :-)
For me I am quite happy with the many existing built-in functions and extensions.
I see many all-singing all-dancing flashy websites and for me they are just a turn-off.
I prefer simple, well designed websites that don't make you dizzy and heading for the pain-killers!

WYSIWYG Web Builder 9 already has a selection of CMS Tools to allow a user to make changes to a page. You can find these at Toolbox>(CMS)Content Managment System. There is also the following extensions.
News Writer Pro - Version 1.0
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/newswriterpro.html
News Writer - Version 1.3
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/newswriter.html
There are also Demo projects of extensions
Extension Builder example projects
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=13743

Personally I do not like any script that requires the user to install external plugins before they can use or try in Demo mode so for me that puts me off even considering making it as a extension.
Plase take a look at the url to the Demo extension this will give you a start on what to do.

Here is a nice overlay menu, however as RZ rightly pointed out, it uses CSS3 which means it requires a modern browser and the effects may not show correctly on older browsers.

http://tympanus.net/codrops/2014/02/06/ ... y-effects/

I am posting it as it feels very nice and lightweight. Can I also point out this can be recreated using RZ's layer tools, but without the fancy SVG animation.
