Fuzzy Text with coloured background in Mozilla Firefox

I recently accessed a page which loaded some nasties into my browser - Google Chrome, and although I removed and re-installed it, they kept popping up messages about viruses and scans, etc.
I removed Chrome completely, and replaced it with Mozilla Firefox.
Whilst updating my bookmarks, I visited a site I created years ago - http://www.johnsmithbusker.co.uk and noticed that the text did not look sharp.

I experimented with changing the background colour from blue to white on the first two pages, and the text lost its fuzziness, but it remained on the others - eg .http://www.johnsmithbusker.co.uk/busker.html

On my 'phone, which uses Safari, the text is sharp on all pages, white background or not.

I can't check on Chrome now to see if it always looked fuzzy, so ask here if anyone can explain. Its no big deal, but I would like to know if there is a simple answer.

Thanks, Don

I do not see the fuzzy text anywhere on the website.
Are you sure this is not an issue of your computer?

Of course it is!
As soon as I moved the window to one of the two monitors I have in my setup, away from the 38 inch TV that I use as my main screen, the display was sharp in all colour backgrounds. Fiddling with the screen settings in the TVs setup corrected the problem, there.
Sorry to waste your time, I can only plead old age as an excuse.

I checked in Firefox before seeing that this had been resolved - of course, I found no fuzziness!
