Is there a way to do a random image in the same way we have a random quote?

Are you wanting a random image on page load? or a random image slideshow?
I know there is an extension for random image on page load
here:
I also created an extension for this plus you can create a random slideshow

You can use the slideshow to display a random image.
This is from the help (F1):
Slideshow -> Type -> Random
The images will be displayed in random order. If you set the 'Pause time' to 0 (zero) then the SlideShow can be used to display a random image each time you visit the website.

Crispy,
When I try and download yours, I get this:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to webbuildertemplates.com. The OCSP response does not include a status for the certificate being verified.
Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.
Any idea why?

Alan might be best to come back later just to give crispy68 (Ron) time to reply as he is based in the USA and maybe be between 6 to 8 hrs behind.

Thanks BF. I will do that.
I've tried Pablo's lightshow and it seems to have an issue which I will be reporting in another thread.

@Alan,
I visited the site using Firefox and do not see the issues you are having. I have the latest version of FF.
