maybe you guys can help me
I have a subscription site, pages are locked unless someone logs in
a couple people are telling me they are receiving 400 & 404 errors
ther were no changes on this site

not sure how to show this issue, you would have to login on the site

I use file listing elements on each page to display the files in question

this is the site but you would have to be logged in to access the files

https://theboneyardpdflibrary.com/

i know this is not enough for anyone to help , looking for a starting point

Both of these errors are unrelated to the software. A 400 indicates that the request can't be fulfilled due to a bad request with a client sided error. A fix is clearing the browser cache, ask them to try another browser or PC.
Whereas a 404 indicates the page cannot be found, is no longer available or simply just a temporary issue with the server.
Again ask them to clear there browser cache, try another browser or PC and even to just turn of there router and reboot it say after 5 mins and try again.

I would also get them to check there login details as I read (from the login page) that certain special characters are not permitted and may be a issue but this generally shouldnt cause the errors they are seeing but it might be best to mention this and contact you to reset this for them.
