Major Problems with Preview

I have updated to the latest version (20.2.2 Jun 27 2025). When I go to preview it says generating but only locks up (WYSIWYG not responding.) I uninstalled and reinstalled. I cleaned all temp files and cache. It will on rare occasion actually properly preview but now not at all.

I tried on various projects. Same result. I even just opened the app and just hit preview on a blank index page. Still locks up (not responding).

Any suggestions ? By the way, It started this issue with previous 20.X.X updates as well.

Please advise ?

Thanks,
Max

There are no known issues with preview, this functionality has not changed recently.
It may be a browser configuration issue.

Thank you for responding.

Is there a way I can send a screenshot. I created a .png which shows my problem chronologically. I did pretty extensive troubleshooting and don't have any new ideas. I have been using WYSIWYG for many years. I am sure the issue is on my end but just can't determine the cause of the problem. I tried with "Chrome" my default, also used MS Edge and Mozilla Safari. Same outcome.

Strangely, I can publish to "Local Publish" folder and click on index.html and it comes up just fine in the browser.

Thanks again for the help.

Check your preview folder (Options, Settings, Files & Folders). Do you have write access to that area?
