Is there a faster/easier/alternative way to view my various breakpoints? I click on the down arrow at the moment, but it often takes multiple clicks in multiple positions around the down arrow before it works?

Do you mean switch to another breakpoint?

You can also do this via breakpoint toolbar at the bottom


Or via the menu at the upper right corner.
