Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but whatever shows up in WB does not reflect correctly in a browser.
I have page with 3 breaking points at: 960, 480, 320 px. Same problem in Firefox and Chrome

It looks like you did not publish the style sheet.
Or there is a conflict in your settings. For example, a naming conflict (see the FAQ).

If you need help then please share a DEMO project.

Thank for replying. Not sure what you mean by a demo project and do not understand what you mean by Saving a stylesheet.

Now I can't even work. I wasted an entire day today and got nowhere. Nothing but problems.
I also noticed that when I made a change and tired to preview the change in the browser, it was not updating (even when I cleared the browser cache). Most of the time I use Firefox.

Just few min ago, all of the sudden the browser preview stopped working (after I decided to change program theme, looking for better readability (in settings). Now WB got frozen (and I had that freezing problem in the past). Will try to reboot entire PC and see if it helps.
I was also trying to find some tutorials on line about setting up the site properly for responsive design and everything is super outdated (at least on YouTube). These old videos talk about the HD resolutions etc, while people are using 8K these days...

I am coming from CMS development where everything is based on template and once the template set and designed correctly then the admin does not have to worry about responsive design anymore. I do not like some CMS limitations, therefore decided to try WB but so far did not have much results.

How do I share my project to get help? Nowhere does it say anything about saving a style sheet it does say publish simply meaning ensure you have published all files.

The video tutorials are provided by other users/members but are still relevant even if you don't agree. How you wish your site to be responsive will depend on what you use "Layout Grids/Flexbox/Flexgrid. There are Online Tutorials see Responsive Web Design

I have seen some tutorials. They show how to eventually use these objects, but they do not really explain the differences among their behavior.

After rebooting PC, I tried to keep working more today and run even into more problems. What I noticed is that if one follows certain path of doing things most of the stuff works as expected. All my problems start when I make changes and decide to rearrange things.

For example: I added PageHeader and PageFooter placeholders to an existing page. Then I wanted to add a ContentPlaceholder in between. I am not able to fit anything in between as these two stick together. I tried to move things in the Object Manager and this dosn't work either. Generally, moving objects (in the ObjectManager) to create sub-items does not work in 99% cases. I do not know if it is a matter of my 4K screens or something else but it is distressing.

Now I have a ContentPlaceholder covered by another object (image). Even if I move it to the top I cannot drag it with the mouse. Moving if in the object manager does not do anything. The order in the panel changes, but the placeholder does not move. I tried =/- and this will not do anything either. Why I am not able to move the object in the Manager Panel ?

Finally I had to delete it and add it again, but now I cannot move existing objects (images, icons etc) into the Header and Footer sections. Am I really missing something ?

As has been mentioned already, you need to share a demo project.

As has also been mentioned, this will tell you how to do that: viewtopic.php?t=82134

I have downloaded your project but I cannot find anything wrong. Everything seems to work as expected.
Can you please describe the exact step to reproduce the problem(s)?
Please try to be as specific as possible.
Where in your project do I need to look?
Where is the styling issue?
Which object is it you cannot move?

Maybe it is something with my WB installation . As I stated previously it gets ocassionally frozen (for no reason).
In the project the problem is that I have to objects which supposed to go into PageFoter section. I was able somehow (after several tries to move over once section (with address) but cannot move the other section with the social icons etc.
Basically the problem definitely exists, because I see the sections and objects aligned in the OBJECT MANAGER panel as expected, but on the page they are not. This is the problem with the entire project. I move the objects in the Object Manager and they do not move on the page.

My understanding is that is I have a section called: PageFooter1 and I need to move any object (i.e . named: Image3) into that section, in the Object Manager panel the object Image3 becomes a subsection of PageFooter1. Not sure if this is correct OR not, but that is my understanding.
If this is true then I am not able to do this. If I try to drag and move it with the mouse I always end up underneath.

If you look up my screenshot you will see what am I talking about

I cannot find anything wrong with the project you have shared. Everything seems to work as expected.

Can you please describe EXACTLY which objects you cannot move?
And where you would like to move them?

Maybe you just need some guidance on how to use specific tools?

It does not work on my end :-(
Do you you see the section called: "Contact" and another one called "PageFooter1"
For example, I need to move the "Contact" into a footer and I cannot. There is also another section in the footer called "footer_icons". When I use +/- to move the "Contact" down to the footer it simply swaps the two and the icons go up where the Contacts are.

Can you also confirm if I should be able to move items in the ObjectManager and make them sub-item of another parent item ?

PS>
I really do not like the fact that we cannot upload images here. I use a dozen other forums and none of them has such a limitation.
Posting a links instead, is an unnecessary waste of time for the user :-(

I posted an image link and looks like you have not checked it. Here it is again.

Can you tell me why "contact" and the "Footer_icons" are assigned to the same parent section in an ObjectManager but they are in a different sections on the page ???

Why do you have a PageFooter and a layout grid set to page footer? You should only need 1. Since 'contact' is already set as a footer, you can't move it into pagefooter1 which is also a pagefooter. It's going to stay fixed at the bottom as you've set it.

I see you are also mixing fixed layers with layout grids. This will not work and may cause odd things to happen unless you set the layers to floating. Also, you need to set your Content Place Holder to floating.

What kind of layout are you trying to achieve? Why do you want the footer to be fixed at the bottom the entire time? This takes up valuable screen space. Simply having it at the bottom, floating on your master page will make it be at the bottom no matter the size of your page but just no fixed.

Where are the footer Icons supposed to be? Are they to be part of the footer itself or below the footer?

One other thing to keep in mind, make sure the breakpoints on the master page match the breakpoints on your actual page.

Firstly, you are mixing different layout modes: fixed/absolute and flexible (floating). These modes are not compatible with each other.

Layers are intended for fixed layouts.

Layout grids are designed for flexible layouts.

Related tutorial:
https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/layout_modes.html

A layer cannot be placed inside a flexible layout because it would break the layout—and vice versa. If you want to use a flexible layout, you should remove all layers from the page (unless you fully understand the implications).
Note that a page footer object is also a layer.

Additionally, containers should not be locked. When a container is locked, you can no longer move it or add objects to it. Locking objects only makes sense in fixed layouts, where you may want to prevent accidental movement. This does not apply to flexible layouts, where positioning is controlled by layout grids.

Step 1
Remove all layers and replace them with layout grids if you want to implement a flexible layout. This includes the page footer.

Step 2
Unlock all elements on the page so they can move freely.

Tip
When asking for help, keep your demo project as simple as possible. This makes it immediately clear what you are trying to achieve and allows others to provide a solution much faster—without having to guess your intent.

Thank you for explanation. Yes, I am not very familiar with all the Layout objects and so far could nut find much information to understand the difference. Will check the tutorial and follow your suggestions and reply back here...
I really like the tutorial pages, especially the charts. Super nicely done.
