In the Help is states to use only CSS3 to be responsive.
Is there any issue using SVG instead ?

Is there any way to allow the added text on the shape to be responsive ?
Would it not make sense if one chose the SVG output, there should be an option for the font to to scale ?
or am I missing something here ?

When you add text to a Shape(s) they don't remain individual objects the text becomes part of the Shape(s).

That is why I don't understand why the font is not scaling like the shape. If the shape and text become one and it becomes a SVG, it should scale to infinity perfectly. I do this in Inkscape

I believe only the shape itself is output as svg and not the text itself. What exactly are you trying to do? Maybe there is another way to accomplish what you are trying to do. Otherwise, just create what you want in Inkscape and insert that.

Unfortunately, the text is not going to scale. The shape will but the text wont. For that you will need to create it in inkskape if you want the entire thing to actually scale.

If the shape and text become one and it becomes a SVG, it should scale to infinity perfectly.
The text gets flattened into the shape and not converted to SVG so it becomes one with the shape and the final output for both is one SVG. As suggested you can use Inkscape to achieve and the import into the software.

Thanks for your responses. That is what I was going to do, but I thought I would ask, just in case I was not seeing a setting or check box that needed to be turned on

It is always good to ask just incase something has been overlooked.

I actually created them all in inkscape yesterday, but I thought I would give it a go in WWB today to see how much lighter and faster the page would be

I think optimizing a .svg in an actual .svg program is always the best option as WB is not a .svg creator (no diss of WB intended) :D .

Both apps are absolutely excellent.
Another app under development will no doubt reach excellence also https://ansel.photos/en/
