Looking for any kind of information on how to implement multilingual website. I would like to have kinda CMS functionality so the page in Language1 is associated (in a database) to another page in Languiage2. Another option is to use a placeholders and display the content dynamically, based on initial language selection. Looking for all kind of solutions to pick the right concept which will fit.
I would appreciate any info or suggestions.

The CMS does not have a dedicated option fir different languages, but you can create different pages each with their own language.
There are also several extensions for translation and language:
See 'Language / Translate' section:

Thanks. My idea was to use your CMS extension and associate a post with another language. How one could maintain the pages so only these of a specific (selected) language would show up ? Also how to manage the menus, links etc ?
I do not know if the translation extensions would work, because I would need for example embed a video and that video will have 2 or 3 language versions (each for a specific language). Then the same with the audio, so I am not sure how can I manage that.
I used this functionality in the past with Joomla CMS, but got tired of lack of detailed control, and endless payments for extension updates. That is why I am considering moving everything to WWB, but I do not have much experience with your tool yet, that's why my questions (which might seem annoying).

Why wouldnt they work? As mentioned by Pablo you can create pages for the required language(s). For talking sake if the main language is English then you design it in English. You then create the pages again in the required language(s) you then place these pages/files in folders

naming them appropriately french, german, polish etc. You then link them in the likes of the Flag Menu (Paid) which you then place alongside your main navigation (menu). So for example main site in English will have its contents in English and on select of the language from the Flag Menu the content will change to the selected. If your wishing a more advanced method such as calling the languages from the likes of a database then you will need to create/programme this yourself sorry.

I really do not understand this terminology " as calling the languages from the likes of a database"
Yes, this is precisely how it works in most CMS systems. The challenge here is to do everything manually. Perhaps I am wrong on that.
What is needed is the link between pages. For example, Pagge1_en.html linked to Page1-es.html and linked to Page1_de.html
In CMS it is called association. Doing this manually with 5-10 pages is doable and not a big deal, but doing the same with 100+ pages must be somehow automated. I am not sure how this could be possible, but perhaps I do not know enough yet abut WBB capabilities.
To simplify things I am OK with the user selecting a language initially and then browsing the entire site in a specific language. I do not need "on-the-fly" language change. The translation extensions might be useful only if the objects like images are the same for each language. But then there are other objects, maps, links etc. , so these will require language equivalent number of pages.
If somebody has this implemented, I would love to see the site,...
