Better render option than the - Jaggy Edges for Images, PNG, SVG, and Videos ?

Since I didn't use WYSIWYG WB for many years I don't remember, so I hope you can help me fix that:
I came from Wordpress where all (same footage, PNG and SVG and VIDEOS) used to render smooth and beautifully on most popular browsers
Can someone please explain how to enable a better RENDER similar to a nicer Antialiasing Wordpress (or anything close) because it looks bad so far and I'm using the exact same footage I used on Wordpress, I even tried to fit closer scale sizes with PNG but I see it just doesn't look good no matter what.
For example, the videos on the Default Videos looks fine, while using the PLYR extension (which is more advanced and I guess I'll need to use it) is very Jaggy all the videos looks horrible on any size (full screen or not), instead of the original look of the video quality.
It seems like it doesn't look good not just in the editor (which is fine I have no problem with that) but I do when it comes to the published version.
---
Sadly I didn't find such option yet in the options, but I hope someone can guide me to find it... probably it's in front of me and I missed it.
I hope it's an easy fix as enable better rendering option, thanks ahead for anyone who can help

Your images will be published "AS IS" (without modification) so the software does not affect the quality of your images.
If the images do not look the same then there is wrong with the configuration.
The same applies to videos. The video are played by the browser, the software does not affect the quality.
All video players use the same 'core' which is standard browser functionality. Nothing is specific to WWB.

I guess there is no filter option such as the default Wordpress to make everything looks nice.
The fact that I mostly use SVG (smooth true vectors) and some PNG and it still looks bad, nothing I can do with it since it looks perfect as exported.
I'm not sure how to actually configure it in WYSIWYG Web Builder to look nicer, now that you mentioned it's as is... it's true from the Editor but not the actual SVG quality scaling is always nice as true vector, still looks jagged on the Editor and Preview so I have no idea how to make my content to look smooth and nice as I created them originally.

I'm afraid that's not the case:
For videos, the fact is that PLYR shows the videos with very obvious Jaggyness on Preview and the Default Video does a good scale / AA job on any scaling is nice, but they are defiantly not the same quality by default at least.
---
On top = Default Player
On Bottom = Plyr Player
You can see a good example of the Jagginess I mentioned by default:
---
In the Plyr it's simple to add Poster I can see it on the properties, but on the Default Player?
Any tutorial or simple step-by-step guide for a newbie like me to follow?
Thanks ahead

Can we please not use
https://i.imgur.com/ for sharing images due to it being banned in the UK. If possible you can either upload to your own host/site and link to it or use the following

can you provide a link to a sample published page so we can see what the images and video look like published?

Wordpress also use the same player functionality. It does not add a 'filter',. This is not how HTML works.
The generated HTML basically only tells the browser where the video should be placed on the page. The rest is done by the browser.
There is blog in the HTML to played the video.

A solution or link to that specific blog would be appreciated.

Maybe that will help make the video look as nice as the original quality unlike what it looks on PLYR by default.

I do not thing your problem has anything to do with the player (default or PLYR) they are both use the same HTML player, as built-in the browser,.
PLYR only adds a UI to the player.
There may be something in your browser settings that lower the quality.
Also, keep in mind that every browser implements its own player functionality . So, you may also want to check it in other browsers as well.
WWB does not apply any logic to your video or image, they will be published "AS IS", just like WordPress or nay other web design tool.

Code: Select all
I do not thing your problem has anything to do with the player (default or PLYR) they are both use the same HTML player, as built-in the browser,.
PLYR only adds a UI to the player.
The fact IS that they are different in quality, I compared same video, same size.
My theory is that PLYR doesn't scale correct while the default does it in ANY size perfect (as expected), I just love the other features of PLYR so it bothers me that it's quality with jaggy edges.
Code: Select all
There may be something in your browser settings that lower the quality.
it looks exactly the same on
Edge and on
Opera (I installed to see if both PLYR and Default will look the same), consider I'm mainly working with Chrome, I don't think it make sense that all browsers have a very specific issues, it doesn't make any sense that 1 is great, the other is jaggy on the same html page, multiple browsers. it's very obvious that PLYR does something wrong with scaling or Antialiasing (I have no idea what it does it's a guess) I can tell when a video doesn't look as it should even compressed because I'm working with this for 2 decades, what I cannot tell is anything about player or web, I'm clueless about it, that's the reason I created this post.
Sorry for the trouble,
I'm still a newbie in WYSIWYG WB, I didn't use it for many years so I'm rusty and quality is something that I know very well especially with content I created and used before (I'm a post-production / animator for over 2 decades) so I can tell when a video quality looks different with the exact same content on the same web browsers or not. also... it's more than obvious in the screenshot I put together.
Anyhow,
I'll better get back to it later, sadly I can't do much in WYSIWYG WB as for the videos (and other things I have to learn of course) so I'll have to try again maybe I'll get it to work somehow after all.
At least it's FUN using, (feels like LEGO) and that's something I did remember from many years ago

Note that PLYR is a third party script so I have no control over how it work. I only added it to the software in case someone finds it useful.
This is not a WWB specific issue.
Anyway, if you have any issues that you think are relater to the software then please post a demo project as described in the forum rules.
Also, there are several alternative ways to display videos:
