Here it is, this extension will help you implement Wrensoft's Website Search Engine into WWB 5 or 6.
There are 3 files in the zip file, Readme is a must to be to be able to understand the extension.
There is a free version of Zoom search and a Paid version, please use and understand the program before attempting this.
http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/usersguide.html
Wrensoft is creating a FAQ section on their website also to help in this extension, and would be glad to answer any question about their product. I will answer any questions about the extension.
Here is a link that wil help you with tweaking your Css Results. I would print this out for better understanding.
http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support/css.html
**Updated 04-21-2009 **
Updated the Search Box, to include the Height, Width and Border of the Search Box on everypage. Also updated the Text you can put inside of the search field to Say "Search this site" Or whatever you want in there.
Border color, Search Image
In the Search Results, I have added the background color and font update to fix the issue in Firefox. Also Added the Submit Button, so you can add your own Submit button.
If you have this extension installed, please uninstall the items before installing these.
** correct files are now in the Zipped file***

I dropped the template and add a better WBS File with file upload. If you see an issue let me know.

Figured instead of making a million Extensions, after trying to do so. I would specialize in one and get it perfect then move on to the next. Learning as I am going. But yes the bug is bad,

EDIT: Still 2 files. Which one do I need to use. Is there a bug? If so... What is it?
I checked the file, there are 3 files. Search Box, in which you put on each page, and search results , where you want the results shown and then the pdf.
Thanks

Updated to include Template and the WBB 6 Files
Posted: Wed Apr 07, 2010 2:04 pm
by me.prosenjeet
Star, Help me with this.
I have Zoom version 6 and have indexed a site online.
http://diyatechnologies.in
Now I have 9 files in the search folder created by zoom.
As mentioned in the pdf, I upload all the files except search_template.html in the root folder(not in a folder but in open).
Now I create a page with the search form extension and another for the search result with the search result extension.
I name the search result page as search_template.html
In the settings (search form) hence I have kept target as nothing (blank space)
Now when I visit the search form page and type a word and do search.....my page keeps loading for a long long time and it never loads actually.....shows the message "500 Internal Server Error" after 10 minutes.
The document type is set to "None" for both the pages...as this is made on the old extension maker
Check this search form page and try for yourself :
The search form page is
http://www.diyatechnologies.in/searchform.html (even tried to keep it php)
The search result page is :
http://www.diyatechnologies.in/search_template.html
A quick help will be very helpful

Hi me I just done a quick test using "Ingersoll Rand" without the quote marks and it returned a result is about 2 seconds...and using what you used search_template.html it gave a return reading
Your search - search_template.html - did not match any documents the above answers from star to hillbill the 500 is a internal server issue. I would try and wait for a answer from star I believe he is located in US and they are between 5 and 8 hrs behind my time in UK so he may not have even read this yet...
Maybe try what hillbill did
hillbill wrote:Got it working by separately uploading the settings.php file generated from the Zoom Indexer after uploading the search_template page from wb.

Bacon, that is the google search that you must have used on the site...
That search box in on the top right over the menu. The site seems to have been properly indexed by google and I will stay with the google search as of now. But for me the zoom search isnt working....I hope Star57 responds

Sorry me., I am not getting notices that a question has been asked, I do apologize. Was browsing and seen this.
Zoom will create
1 Search.php
2.
Search_template.html
3. settings.php
4. zoom_dictionary.zdat
5.zoom_pagedata.zdat
6.zoom_pageinfo.zdat
7. zoom_pagetext.zdat
8. zoom_recommended.zdat
9. zoom_wordmap.zdat
Use file publisher pro to upload All but Search_Template.html to the root directory like public_html
On the first Extension, ZOOM Search r2. Set your preferences and target PARENT.
Create a WWB page called search_template.html, make it anyway you want, may want to forgo a footer without dynamic layout.
On the second Extension place this on the search_template.html page
Zoom Search Results make sure you set you preferences in Width and Height.
Upload the page and post the results and should work.
me. I am not seeing the search_template.html uploaded to the site?
Bacon Correct in the US - Central Time

Hello Star, thanks for your reply. I will try again following the way you said. Possibly some changes need to be made in the pdf and
if possible, please update the extension with the latest extension builder.
star57 wrote:me. I am not seeing the search_template.html uploaded to the site?
Yes, the page I removed after numerous unsuccessful tries
I will add again and let you know the position

Star, read point number 8 in the pdf, I quote
"IMPORTANT: TARGET= IF YOU CREATED YOUR OWN
“search_template.html” leave this Blank"
but in your earlier post you told me to keep it:
"On the first Extension, ZOOM Search r2. Set your preferences and target PARENT."
Thats why I thought there is some typo in the pdf

Blank if you want the results to show in the window you in, and parent if you dont have a or use the template. I will modify the pdf to explain this. Thanks me.
Is it working?

Star,
here is my demo that doesn't work:
http://www.diyatechnologies.in/searchform.html (target = blank)
and this is the page that should show the result
http://www.diyatechnologies.in/search_template.html
....somehow not working

I see you have another script for searching on the results page. Also, does this site reside on its own server. Meaning that the machien is a host for the site? I see alot of <a href="file:///E:/MyWorks/Diatechonologies/HG_4091_481299/without_fl/html/index.html
Please try the Zoom Search Results on a page without the other search feature and other scripts. then start adding scripts.
Also set your page to "None" and try that.... Let me know thanks...

Not the case, just make sure your template is in the same directory as the ZOOM Files. I am still seeing your old search_template.html
Make sure you dont have the Zoom's search_template.html uploading from anywhere, like File Publisher Plus?
search.php which is created by Zoom looks for search_template.html.
I understand that you have been using Zoom for years, but if your Indexing the Ip and the search is on the same IP, it does not matter. I can have any site results on any other site. Just that the search_template has to be in the working directory as well as Settings.php .
My File Publisher Pro I have Search.php, settings.php and the 5 .zdat files I upload each time.
let me know.
