[rz] Fullscreen Inline Frame (site wrapper) - v2.0.0
This extension wraps your whole website and adds to it more functionality.
This is not another standard inlineframe... but a resizable one as your browser!
Some features / applications:
1. You can have hidden controls for non-stop background music.
2. Hide long URLs.
3. All-purpose fixed areas for advertisements, menu, images, links, etc...
4. Whole temporary changes in a snap and with ease; heavy maintenance not-needed anymore!
5. Many redirection options in case of unsupported schemes in old Internet Explorer versions.
6. Really lightweight.
7. Limited by your imagination.
* Works in all major browsers: IEquirks, IE7, IE8, IE9, IE10, FireFox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, Maxthon, Lunascape.
* New in v2.0.0:
New faster and smoother core, rewritten and optimized from scratch.
Supports many redirection options (including alert-box messages) in case of unsupported schemes in old Internet Explorer versions.
Transparency support even in older browsers.
* New in v1.0.1:
Centered pages are now allowed, this means that there is no need to use layers anymore in the fixed area to center content.
Partially worked-around an annoying issue in chromium for tablets based on android.
DEMO
HTML 4.01 Transitional
W3C compliant
How to use?
1. Drag and drop this extension.
2. Enter the link to as in standard inline frames.

Bosun wrote:Good job RZ. Unfortunately, am finding it difficult displaying internal web page upon preview in the browser. Secondly, does it support multiple instances of the same extension on a page?
thank you.
1) you can display any internal page as regular inlineframes, all depends what you want to display, i.e. php pages won't be displayed, php must be published on a server that supports php. in the other hand, "find difficult", "doesn't work", etc, doesn't help to be helped; please give as many details as you can; what are you trying to do? which steps?
2) this extension doesn't support multi-instance, it is not applicable. how many times you can wrap your site? if you want to use more than one inlineframe you can do it of course, use regular inlineframes. this extension is a whole site wrapper. please read the features/applications in the demo online or in the file that comes with the extension.

instead of drag and drop a regular inlineframe, you can drag and drop this extension, it works the same as inlineframes, the same rules. the only difference is that you can define margins and is automatically resizable (as you resize your browser, such as maximizing it).

Hi RZ,
Nice extension indeed.
Consider this, if it is possible. In this same iframe extension is it possible to display multiple urls by using something like a dropdown menu on the top. The way you have done on your demo page. Or if you can suggest something to achieve it.

thank you me for your post.
well, you have these alternatives (may be others, of course):
1. this one i used in the online demo:
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=46800
2. in this extension, you can use the margins, they are intended to be used as "fixed areas".
both ways allow you to have visible menus (or what you want).
if you are referring to something else, please let me know.

Thansk for a super quick response.
Actually I am looking for something like this:
A page has a sticky layer at the top with a drop dowwn menu. Now when any of the l;inks are selected in that menu, it opens below the sticky layer (using your full page iframe type)...any link selected in the menu will change the display a different link in the iframe below.
Is it possibl;e to achieve?

sure!
you can use this extension as usually do with regular iframes.
1. drag and drop this extension instead of an iframe (lol)
2. define your fixed areas (top/bottom/left/right)
3. in these fixed areas design what you want (in this case a menu)
4. when you define your links to (in your menu), also enter the target window or frame as you usually do:
target: open in another window or frame
value: rzFullsizeIframe (this value is fixed and cannot be changed because is not applicable more than one instance)
that's all!
ps: you don't need sticky layers, the extension by itself has fixed areas.

i'm sorry.
currently centered page as a container is not supported.
i will try my best to fix it as soon as i can.
in the meanwhile, you can workaround this as follows:
put a sizable layer (full-wide) on the reserved area at the top of your page (as you currently have, 250px), and select alignment "center"; this will solve your issue.
regards and thank you for your interest in this extension.

Thanks I think I just tried that but no better it doesn't affect the iframe which still is aligned to the right with space on the left?

remove the center page option, and select don't center page instead.
after that, make your header with a stretchable layer and select center content in its options.

Ok removing the page centering helped - I made the layer relative horizontal size and position with centred content and seems Ok now.
Should be a really useful simple tool to integrate say Wordpress with a WB built static site navigation.

Yes, this was created using Rz's extension.
Yes, I agree it looks much streamlined now for my site. Thanks once again to Rz !

unzip the folder you downloaded.
From that folder copy and paste the .wbx file into :
C>User>"You">My Documents> WYSIWYG Web Builder>System>Extensions
Open Web Builder and look at the default extension panel on the left and search for the extension there. Click on the extension and drag it on to the page area.
Once the extension shows on the page, double click on it to open the properties/settings

Hello [RZ]
I am trying to do what me.prosenjeet did, but it seems that I didn't get it right!
In WWB, I have 5 pages: index, page1, page2, page3 and page4.
In the index page, I put a layer (as a header) with 100px height.
In this layer, I put the "Go Menu", I edited the links to page1, page2, page3 and page4, and I also setup the Target: open in another window or frame, and the value: rzFullsizeIframe.
Now I guess I should drop the extension in the index page, setting the top margin to 100px.
Mmm, now how do I link each item in the go menu to open using the extension?
Thanks.
*****EDIT*****
OH sorry [RZ]! It is working! I forgot to click on "Go" to move to the other pages
Sorry for that

No no I didn't mean this at all man!
Well, let me say this:
ALL your extensions are installed on my WWB.
My website (still needs some graphical work with the help of my graphic designer friend) is structured on your layers extensions and button extension.
The advertisement extension will also be used in my site as a login form holder for the clients (once I prepare their pages).
If I am going to use the "CSS3 transition and transforms Intro" in my site, the preloader extension will be used as well.
Since I live in a country where people speak the local language, I guess I have to use the multi language extension.
And you know what, every extension you publish, I try to find a new idea to use it in either my website or other websites am building.
In brief, you are a GENIUS with HUGE extensions! Without your extension I would suffer finding solution YOU simple compacted them in a few extensions!
So, when I said before I don't really know how to thank you (not only for your extension but also for your amazing help and patience with me and other users), I really meant it! And I guess what I wrote up here makes you get my feeling!
Again... THANKS A MILLION [RZ].

Interesting to mention is that you can also us miuns value ( eg. -50) as margin, for example to remove a top banner of a inlined webpage

this is the power of the extensions...
(anyhow, the downside is you won't be able to see the scrollbar in full - in case it is needed)

as far as i tested, it works fine; anyhow, please try it by yourself.
Or has this question already been asked?
yes, you already asked about iframes on idevices in another thread (
http://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/view ... =5&t=54076). so, please try this extension by yourself so as you can know how it works in your device and how it works for you. also please read some previous posts on this thread that may help you.
Also, what is the best way to set up in a site using a content place holder?
how is this question related to this extension?
with regards and thank you for your interest in this extension.

RS - the other question is what led me to this thread. : - ) Concerning how to set up in a master frame with a content place holder - that is I wanted to set it up so that the header / footer of the master frame was not covered up. Upon playing with it for a few minutes (just to test) I figured out the top and side margins but not the bottom. But thats ok. Now I only have to make up my mind - do I want the inset iframe or the full page iframe for my blog page. Thank you so much.
Edit - changes uploaded. It certainly looks nicer in ipad etc. but not using an ipad on a regular basis how does the scrolling work? Confirm?

you can set up top right bottom and left margins, this extension was fully tested and is working ok.
i don't have an ipad, i can't confirm, but was tested by others that didn't report any issues.
