I am helping a friend learn how to use WB and they have asked me for a tutorial on the basics of accepting credit cards on a website. I suggest paypal but I would like to be of more help than that.

Is there an overview tutorial for this topic?

Online payments are usually processed by payment processors, like PayPal and MyCommerce.

If you wan to do it yourself then you have to implement a credi card validation system and of course the website must be running on a secure server.
