Mail Engine in the Contact Form

If I may, I have heard of some hosts having issues sending emails via a php contact form to a generic email address such as gmail, Hotmail, etc. However, if one changes the mail engine via the "advanced" button at the bottom of the general tab and under the "mail engine" tab (change to smtp) it seems to work. You only need the host name, port, email address and password (just as if setting it up in Outlook desktop program) and it should work the same. Be sure to check only "smtp authentication". I haven't tested it successfully and perhaps there is a better option but....
