I have noticed in some extensions if you click on a property it pops up another box and you can either type items in like a spreadsheet or it shows a lot more sub properties of the original item you have clicked on.

How do y ou setup this in extension builder

It's been a while since I made any extensions but let's say you want a list of countries then you would use options then type all the countries needed so the user can select which. For more advanced features then you would use datasets with a xsl file along with options. As I say it been a while so rusty with what I used.

This feature is called 'datasets'. It is explained in the documentation.
